What You'll Do

• Solve problems with minimal guidance as you learn the “Drive way,” primarily handling day-to-day work on your own with full support for any one-off issues.
• Independently manage month-end close workflows, checklists, and financial statement delivery.
• Troubleshoot and optimize QuickBooks Online (QBO) configurations and app integrations.
• Review work from junior team members, offering encouraging feedback and helpful coaching.
• Maintain accurate prepaid and amortization schedules along with payroll-related accruals.
• Perform root-cause analyses on financial discrepancies to keep books spotless.
• Build positive, friendly relationships with clients and team members while sharing clear financial updates.

What You Bring

• At least 5 years of professional bookkeeping experience, with deep expertise in accrual-basis accounting and full-cycle month-end closes.
• Advanced QuickBooks Online (QBO) proficiency and confidence working with complex Excel spreadsheets.
• A self-motivated mindset with strong communication skills in a remote work environment.

The Interview Process

We keep our process friendly, clear, and straightforward:

1. Initial Screen: A 30–45 minute video call with the FloatHR team to chat about your experience and goals.
2. Team Interview: A video interview with the owner of Drive Accounting and one of our senior team members.
3. Final Steps: Reference checks to wrap everything up!

Pay & Benefits

• Pay: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour
• Location: 100% Remote (Company based in Beaverton, OR)
• Schedule: Flexible working hours
• Perks: 401(k) with 5% match, AFLAC, 8 paid holidays, PTO with carryover, and a fully paid shutdown from Christmas to New Year’s!
