• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, ensuring a thorough understanding of their unique situations.
• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized and culturally sensitive treatment plans that align with their specific therapeutic goals and preferences.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver high-quality interventions tailored to mood disorders.
• Educate and empower clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance their overall mental health.
• Monitor client progress consistently, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes and healing.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare team members to provide seamless and coordinated care.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying informed about the latest research and best practices in treating mood disorders.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records of client sessions, assessments, and treatment plans to comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training opportunities to elevate clinical skills and foster a culture of learning within the organization.
• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mood disorders within the community.

In this role, you will primarily focus on clients dealing with various mood disorders, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet the needs of individuals from diverse backgrounds. Our patient population reflects a wide spectrum of experiences, helping you develop a rich clinical practice that acknowledges cultural nuances and individual circumstances.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Must possess a current and valid license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology to facilitate effective collaboration with psychiatrists and other behavioral health providers.

• Two or more years of post-licensure experience specializing in the treatment of mood disorders.
• Proven proficiency in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches like CBT and DBT.
• A successful track record of achieving positive treatment outcomes for clients suffering from mood disorders.
