As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Westside Counseling Services, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health, emotional well-being, and any relevant history that may impact treatment.
• Developing and implementing personalized treatment plans that reflect the unique needs, strengths, and goals of each client.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
• Facilitating individual, family, and group therapy sessions, using creative and interactive techniques to encourage client engagement.
• Monitoring client progress regularly, adjusting treatment approaches as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Offering crisis intervention and immediate support during acute episodes, ensuring clients feel safe and supported.
• Maintaining comprehensive and confidential client records, adhering to state and federal regulations, ethical standards, and organizational policies.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, social workers, and other health professionals to ensure that care is holistic and well-coordinated.
• Continuously refining your knowledge and clinical skills through professional development opportunities, workshops, and supervision sessions.
• Upholding ethical guidelines and professional standards set forth by licensing boards and mental health organizations.

You will work with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a range of challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. The ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LPC/MHSP, LCSW).
