This full-time position allows for remote work within a flexible schedule that accommodates students' needs, including some evening and weekend hours. • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand students' mental health concerns, strengths, and available resources, ensuring each assessment is comprehensive and tailored to individual needs.
• Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care, addressing diverse student needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans with clear goals and interventions, regularly reviewing and adjusting plans based on student progress and feedback.
• Work collaboratively with psychologists, psychiatrists, and teachers to create and implement client-centered treatment plans, ensuring holistic and coordinated care tailored specifically to the educational environment.
• Provide crisis intervention, conduct risk assessments, and create safety plans when necessary, equipping students with coping strategies and support during critical times.
• Document all interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately and in compliance with ethical and legal standards, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, psychoeducation classes, and support groups that promote peer interaction and collective coping strategies among students.

Your primary focus will be on serving school-aged youth grappling with a variety of mental health challenges. This includes addressing issues of anxiety, depression, learning disabilities, and trauma, and promoting emotional and behavioral health in the school setting. By working directly with students, you will play a pivotal role in helping them overcome barriers to academic success and personal development.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW).
• A minimum of two years of experience delivering mental health services in an outpatient or school-based setting.
• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and an ability to apply these techniques effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and clinical assessment skills that facilitate rapport building with children, families, and school personnel.

• Experience in school social work or equivalent roles that involve working closely with children and adolescents.
• Knowledge of educational systems and special education services is a plus.
• Experience in crisis intervention and risk assessment in educational settings.
