• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health needs, including intake interviews and standardized assessment tools to formulate tailored treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapy to individuals, couples, and families through telehealth platforms, adapting your approach to suit various client situations and therapeutic modalities.
• Collaborate effectively with related professionals, including case managers and psychiatrists, to ensure a cohesive strategy of care, utilizing integrated health records for efficient information sharing.
• Deliver crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute distress, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning to stabilize their situation.
• Participate in virtual community outreach and educational initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness, sharing resources, and normalizing mental health discussions.

As a licensed mental health counselor at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will work primarily with adults and families from a variety of backgrounds, some facing challenges like depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance abuse. Our commitment to serving marginalized and underrepresented communities ensures that you will engage with clients who have diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and educational experiences, fostering a culturally competent approach in your practice.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and foster therapeutic relationships effectively.
• A strong understanding of cultural competence and sensitivity, essential for working with individuals from varied backgrounds.
• Highly developed organizational skills, ensuring timely and accurate documentation and follow-up with clients.

• Prior experience in a community mental health setting, specifically delivering telehealth services to diverse populations.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing no greater than five years ago.
• Experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care practices.
