• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their social, emotional, and environmental needs, employing evidence-based practices.
• Craft individualized service plans outlining clear goals, interventions, and methods to monitor progress effectively.
• Provide therapeutic counseling to individuals and families, guiding them through issues such as mental health challenges, trauma, and crises.
• Utilize crisis intervention strategies, including risk assessments and safety planning, to ensure the immediate well-being of clients.
• Collaborate with clients to connect them with community resources, advocating for necessary services that aid in their recovery and empowerment.
• Foster partnerships with various community agencies and organizations to enhance service delivery and client advocacy efforts.
• Engage regularly in community outreach to raise awareness about available services and promote the agency’s mission.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and ongoing training to continuously improve service delivery and professional skills.

Your work at Soul Canvas Healing will primarily focus on supporting vulnerable populations experiencing social challenges such as homelessness, domestic violence, substance abuse, and economic hardship. You will be critical in helping individuals and families navigate complex social systems, empowering them to achieve stability and health.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
• Strong understanding of social justice issues, community resources, and trauma-informed care approaches.
• Exceptional communication skills, cultural competence, and the ability to address client needs effectively and empathetically.

• Previous experience in a social service agency or a similar environment is advantageous.
• Proficiency in electronic record-keeping systems and case management software.
• Experience in crisis intervention, family therapy, or community organizing can enhance your candidacy.
