Job Title: Patching SME/Advisor (Patching as a Service - PaaS, IBM BigFix Expert)
Location: Remote (Based in Atlanta, GA)
Role Overview:
We are looking for a Patching SME/Advisor with deep expertise in Patching as a Service (PaaS) and IBM BigFix to join our consulting practice. This role will focus on providing strategic and technical leadership for patch management solutions, with an emphasis on IBM BigFix and cloud-native patching strategies. The position is primarily remote, but candidates must be based in Atlanta, GA, with occasional monthly on-site engagements for team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patching Strategy & Implementation:

  • Design, implement, and manage end-to-end patching strategies, leveraging IBM BigFix and other tools.
  • Provide expertise in PaaS models, ensuring alignment with industry standards and security compliance.
  • Develop and maintain patching automation pipelines for hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
2. IBM BigFix Expertise:
  • Configure, manage, and optimize IBM BigFix environments for large-scale patching operations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IBM BigFix-related issues to ensure seamless patch deployment and compliance.
  • Train and mentor teams on IBM BigFix best practices and advanced functionalities.
3. Advisory Role:
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, guiding decisions on patching technologies, processes, and tools.
  • Conduct stakeholder workshops and presentations to highlight the value of effective patch management strategies.
4. Operational Excellence:
  • Oversee patching operations, ensuring timely delivery, compliance with SLAs, and security requirements.
