Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to understand the mental health needs of clients, creating personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Provide therapeutic services, including individual therapy sessions, using evidence-based methodologies to promote personal growth and enhance emotional well-being.
• Collaboratively set therapeutic goals with clients, monitoring their progress and adjusting strategies as needed to ensure effective support.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms to conduct virtual therapy sessions for clients who may face mobility challenges or prefer remote services.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation to uphold ethical standards and comply with state regulations while ensuring client confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training programs to continually refine your clinical skills and stay current with industry trends.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clients represent diverse backgrounds and experiences, including those facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. As an LMFT at Central Mind Wellness Centre, you will work closely with individuals, couples, and families, helping them navigate complex emotional dynamics and life transitions.

Qualifications

• Active and valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Illinois.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required, providing the foundational knowledge needed for effective practice.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for the establishment of strong therapeutic relationships built on trust and empathy.
• A commitment to a nonjudgmental approach, fostering a comforting space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a clinical setting or community health clinic is desirable.

• Experience in treating substance abuse issues or providing support in trauma recovery can enhance your application.

Compensation and Benefits

• The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000, based on experience and credentials.
