Key Responsibilities

In your role as a Mental Health Counselor, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting ethical, compassionate, and effective individual mental health counseling sessions utilizing video chat technology.
• Employing solution-oriented therapeutic modalities tailored to meet the individual needs of each client.
• Designing and implementing personalized treatment plans that address clients' unique concerns and goals.
• Guiding clients in developing insights regarding their emotional experiences, interpersonal relationships, and coping strategies.
• Monitoring client progress throughout the treatment plan, making necessary adjustments to encourage positive outcomes.
• Facilitating skill-building exercises that empower clients to adopt healthy coping mechanisms and foster improved mental well-being.

The primary focus of our counseling services is providing support to stable, low-acuity adults who have diverse mental health needs. Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in a counseling-related discipline such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current state-issued mental health counseling license allowing independent practice (LMFT, LPC, LCSW). Note that we do not offer supervision for limited/provisional licenses.
• A clean disciplinary history with no current or past sanctions.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong ability to empathize with and support clients.
• Proficient computer literacy, including experience with video conferencing tools.
• A reliable computer equipped with webcam and audio capabilities, as well as a stable internet connection.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, preference will be given to candidates who have a solid background in teletherapy and demonstrated success in the application of evidence-based practices. Familiarity with diverse treatment modalities will be an added advantage in effectively addressing the varied concerns of our client population.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package includes a competitive annual salary between USD 90,000 and 104,000, depending on experience and hours worked. Additional benefits for full-time counselors include a monthly healthcare stipend to promote wellness and encourage a balanced professional and personal life. We also offer a sign-on bonus to welcome new members to our team, with weekly direct deposit to ensure timely payment.
