Work Environment

This remote position allows mental health therapists to maintain flexibility in their daily practice, while being part of a vibrant and supportive team. Our clinic operates primarily during regular business hours, with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While therapists enjoy the freedom of remote work, some flexibility may be required to accommodate patient schedules and urgent care needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs and formulate tailored treatment plans aimed at promoting recovery and wellness.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, and families, employing diverse methodologies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques.
• Lead psychoeducational and support groups, fostering a sense of community and providing essential knowledge about mental health issues.
• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
• Offer immediate crisis intervention services and emotionally supportive assistance to patients experiencing acute mental health crises.
• Educate patients about their mental health diagnoses, available treatment options, and community resources to facilitate informed decision-making in their recovery processes.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation in adherence to legal and ethical standards, utilizing an electronic health record (EHR) system to manage patient information.
• Engage actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development endeavors to enhance clinical skills and share best practices.
• Stay current with developments in mental health therapy by reading research articles, attending trainings, and participating in relevant workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals of various ages, ethnicities, and backgrounds facing a range of mental health challenges. You will work with adults experiencing serious mental illnesses, adolescents dealing with emotional distress, and families navigating relationship challenges. Your role will empower these individuals and groups to achieve better mental health outcomes through structured support and therapeutic guidance.

Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, LCP, LSCSW, or LMFT in the state of Nevada, demonstrating your professional qualifications.
• Sound knowledge of mental health disorders and a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proven experience in conducting thorough mental health assessments and devising effective treatment strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver both individual and group therapy to diverse populations effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.
• Sound judgment and a commitment to maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant clinical tools.
• A collaborative spirit and willingness to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the overall mission of patient care.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on outpatient therapy.
• Experience with telehealth and virtual therapy practices, adapting therapeutic techniques for remote delivery.
• Familiarity with community resources and support services to assist patients in their recovery journeys.

Compensation and Benefits
