• Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring a thorough understanding of their mental health needs.
• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, applying therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices to address identified challenges.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation, including billing, treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, adhering to strict deadlines and regulatory requirements.
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and relapse prevention strategies to support patients in achieving and maintaining stable functioning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams through case consultations and agency meetings, engaging in continuous dialogue to enhance patient care.
• Complete licensure requirements and participate in ongoing education to ensure clinical competence and stay current with best practices.
• Create effective discharge plans that facilitate patients' transition from therapy while sustaining their mental wellness.
• Uphold all applicable federal and state laws, as well as our organizational policies, to maintain a high standard of care.

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that is recognized for licensing purposes.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMHC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of Florida.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and clinical skills, alongside a passion for helping others.

• Experience in working with diverse populations and understanding cultural sensitivities in mental health care.
• Background in crisis intervention and the ability to manage complex case situations effectively.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and treatment planning software.
