This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing our mental health professionals to create a balanced work-life schedule while managing outpatient therapy sessions. While our therapists primarily operate from home, they have access to a strong intra-office support network and participate in regular team meetings to discuss case management and ongoing training. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to gauge their therapeutic needs.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions for patients, as well as family counseling, tailored to the specific needs identified during assessments.
• Complete thorough billing documentation, individualized treatment plans, and necessary insurance authorization forms, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and timely submissions.
• Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to support clients in maintaining stable functioning.
• Create effective discharge plans to ensure continued care and support post-therapy.
• Adhere strictly to all federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and NEHS policies to maintain the organization's high standards of care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training and education to remain competent in the latest therapeutic practices.
• Participate in case consultation meetings and agency gatherings to share insights, discuss challenges, and foster teamwork.
• Complete all required licensure and training to maintain your professional credentials.

Our outpatient center serves a diverse population of individuals and families seeking mental health support. We focus on delivering personalized care that caters to varying diagnoses such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. To be considered for this position, you must possess:

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies you for licensure.
• Current licensure in the state of Georgia as a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, such as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.

While not mandatory, the following experiences are advantageous:

• Previous experience working in an outpatient setting and utilizing evidence-based methodologies.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote therapy techniques.
• Experience in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
