Position Overview

Mindful Walkway Counseling & Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass a range of critical functions, including:

  • Actively participating in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to assist children with disabilities or developmental delays.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on young children, particularly infants and toddlers with disabilities or developmental delays. You will work closely with families, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to support their child's growth in physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and communication skills. This role requires not only clinical expertise but also a deep empathy and understanding of the complexities that families face when navigating early intervention services.

Qualifications

To be successful in this position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s Degree or Doctorate in Social Work (MSW/DSW).
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Washington State.
  • A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed for client assessments or community outreach.
  • A proven ability to adapt to various learning styles and needs, creating individualized treatment plans that cater to each child and family.
  • Strong commitment to working within Natural Learning Environment practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills essential for managing multiple cases effectively.
