Work Environment

This role operates within a vibrant community health clinic framework, predominantly working remotely from your chosen location in Yuma, Arizona. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with a minimum caseload of 25 clients, employing techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and psychodynamic therapy.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, ensuring that therapeutic goals align with the client’s needs and aspirations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions and treatment progress within our electronic health record (EHR) system, adhering to compliance standards.
• Participate in periodic team meetings to discuss client care strategies and share insights on best practices.
• Provide documentation and support for insurance claims to facilitate smooth billing processes.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in social work and mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will include individuals aged 18 and older, representing a variety of backgrounds, including minority and diverse populations. Our focus also includes accommodating special populations such as the LGBTQIA+ community and addressing men's mental health concerns. This diverse and dynamic environment necessitates a culturally competent approach to care.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.
• An active LCSW license authorizing practice in Arizona.
• A minimum of three years of clinical counseling experience, ideally in a post-licensure capacity.
• Demonstrated proficiency in CBT and psychodynamic therapy techniques.
• Experience in providing psychotherapy to clients aged 18 and above, preferably with a background in working with marginalized groups.
• Possess professional malpractice insurance to ensure compliance and protection.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community.
• Experience focusing on men’s mental health issues.
• A background in providing treatment to diverse client backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits
