Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker will encompass a variety of responsibilities aimed at delivering high-quality mental health care:

• Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to understand clients’ mental health conditions and develop tailored treatment plans grounded in best practices.
• Administering a variety of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based methodologies that cater to the unique needs of your clients.
• Maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations and organizational standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Engaging in collaborative treatment approaches with the multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health providers, to promote comprehensive care.
• Participating in peer review sessions and case consultations to continually refine clinical skills and enhance treatment outcomes.
• Providing patients and their families with education about mental health, treatment processes, and possible community resources to support their ongoing wellness journey.
• Staying informed about advancements in mental health research and integrating new insights into your practice to optimize client outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is essential.
• A valid License as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience, focusing predominantly on psychotherapy services.
• Proven proficiency in solution-focused and other evidence-based interventions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that foster positive relationships with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years, experience with specific populations such as adolescents and families, as well as knowledge of state regulations affecting mental health practice in Texas, would be highly valued.
