Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ mental health concerns, determining their treatment needs through collaboratively developed intake processes.
• Create personalized treatment plans tailored to individual client challenges and goals, ensuring that each plan is actionable and measurable.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies.
• Maintain collaboration with other health care professionals, including psychiatrists and case managers, to design an integrated care plan that encompasses all aspects of the client’s needs.
• Educate and support the families of clients, fostering an understanding of mental health issues and involving them in the therapeutic process as appropriate.
• Ensure all records are accurately maintained, confidential, and comply with HIPAA and ethical guidelines, including regular documentation and case management updates.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid license as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A minimum of a master's degree or doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated specialized training or substantial experience in mental health counseling is essential.
• A strong grasp of evidence-based practices for various mental health disorders is required.
• Exceptional therapeutic and counseling skills, coupled with a proven ability to build rapport and motivate clients through their recovery.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively within a diverse treatment team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing teletherapy or virtual counseling services is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems and remote therapy platforms.
• Training in trauma-informed care or crisis intervention strategies is an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
