Position Overview

Mohawk Trail Counseling Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team. This full-time position invites you to contribute to impactful mental health care from the comfort of your home, while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team dedicated to improving client outcomes. As an LCSW, you will be responsible for delivering evidence-based therapeutic services to clients struggling with a variety of mental health challenges.

About the Organization

Located in Coos Bay, Oregon, Mohawk Trail Counseling Center is an outpatient mental health clinic committed to providing accessible and quality mental health services to individuals of all ages. Our mission revolves around creating a supportive environment that fosters healing and growth. We specialize in diagnosing and treating various mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related disorders, and more. Our approach integrates evidence-based therapies tailored to individual needs, ensuring a holistic path toward clients' wellness and recovery.

Work Environment

This role is designed for a remote work setting, allowing flexibility in your daily schedule. While working remotely provides you with the versatility to manage your work-life balance, the position also requires some availability for evening and weekend hours to effectively meet the needs of our diverse client base. Collaborating closely with colleagues across various locations, you will take part in a nurturing and professional network geared towards high-quality mental health care.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and available resources.
  • Providing individual, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities tailored to each client’s unique needs.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, with clear goals and interventions to track progress effectively.
  • Collaborating with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and coordinated care for all clients.
  • Offering crisis intervention, conducting risk assessments, and implementing safety planning consistent with ethical and legal standards.
  • Facilitating group therapy sessions, psychoeducational classes, and support groups designed to promote advocacy, awareness, and peer support.
  • Maintaining accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations, ensuring a thorough record of client interactions and treatment progress.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults experiencing complex mental health issues. Your efforts will directly contribute to their recovery journeys, promoting healing, resilience, and personal growth. The diverse clinical challenges you face will enable you to apply your expertise and adapt your therapeutic methods to best support each individual.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • An active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, treatment planning, and client-centered care approaches.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills essential for effective client interactions.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will enhance your candidacy:

  • A minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting, where direct client care has been a primary focus.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-focused therapy.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, recognizing the importance of your expertise in enhancing our clients' well-being. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Health insurance coverage, including medical, dental, and vision options.
  • Retirement plans with an employer match to help secure your financial future.
  • Generous paid time off, which includes vacation days, personal days, and holidays, promoting work-life balance.
  • Opportunities for continuing education and training programs aimed at expanding your clinical skills and knowledge base.
  • Potential for a sign-on bonus as an incentive for joining our dedicated team.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Mohawk Trail Counseling Center, we believe in cultivating the growth of our employees. As you build your career with us, you will have access to professional development opportunities, mentorship, and leadership training. We support your journey toward advanced certifications and roles within the organization, ensuring your career aspirations are not only acknowledged but actively encouraged.
