Position Overview

Wealshire Behavioral Clinic is actively seeking fully licensed Mental Health Therapists, including Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW), and LCSW-Rs to join our team in Buffalo, New York. This is a full-time remote position aimed at addressing the increasing demand for mental health services. As a therapist with us, you will provide vital counseling services, supporting clients from the comfort of your own home and working with a flexible schedule.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, eliminating the need for commuting and allowing you to operate in a comfortable, personal setting. Our fully integrated digital platform provides the tools necessary for you to conduct therapy sessions efficiently. You will have a personal online office where you can manage your client bookings, schedules, and case notes, allowing you to concentrate solely on client care rather than administrative burdens.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one therapy sessions via secure video conferencing, fostering a supportive environment for open discussion.
• Carefully screen clients to ensure they are emotionally stable and suited for therapy, focusing primarily on those presenting with low-acuity issues.
• Guide clients in exploring their emotions and experiences, facilitating insight into personal and relational dynamics.
• Assess and diagnose a range of emotional and mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, stress, and grief.
• Develop and execute tailored treatment plans using a solution-focused approach that utilizes your clinical expertise.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting intervention strategies as necessary to promote healthy coping skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client base will comprise adult individuals facing a variety of emotional and psychological challenges. Each client is pre-screened to ensure they are suitable for remote therapy sessions, allowing you to focus on those needing support while maintaining a manageable caseload. This approach not only maximizes successful outcomes but also enhances client engagement in a positive therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is a must.
• A valid independent license as either an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R is required. Note: We do not accept provisional licenses or candidates with disciplinary actions.
• Strong proficiency in computer-based systems and virtual communication tools.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with telehealth platforms is highly advantageous.
• Prior experience providing therapy in an outpatient setting is preferred, particularly with adult populations.
• Proficiency in developing treatment plans and implementing interventions within a solution-oriented framework.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside significant benefits that enhance the work-life balance of our therapists.
