• Deliver individual, family, and couple therapy sessions to clients experiencing a range of emotional issues such as trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and relationship conflicts, tailoring interventions to meet each client's unique needs.
• Conduct comprehensive client assessments to identify strengths, needs, and areas for growth, utilizing standardized assessment tools and evidence-based practices to formulate effective treatment plans.
• Maintain precise clinical documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations and state laws, ensuring accurate case records, treatment plans, and progress notes are kept up-to-date.
• Provide culturally sensitive care, respecting the diverse backgrounds and unique identities of each client, and fostering an inclusive therapeutic environment.
• Engage in supervised practice and seek out professional development opportunities to further enhance your clinical skills and knowledge base.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams within the clinic to deliver integrated care, participating in treatment planning discussions and case reviews.

Your caseload will primarily include individuals and families from various socio-economic backgrounds. Many clients will be seeking help for complex issues such as trauma recovery, depression, anxiety disorders, and relational challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the factors impacting mental health within the community, and a commitment to empowering clients towards recovery and resilience.

• Master’s degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program.
• Current Vermont License as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), with the capacity to practice autonomously.
• A compassionate approach to client care, displaying cultural competence and an understanding of the diverse backgrounds of clients you serve.
• Demonstrated experience in providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or other relevant approaches.
• Previous work with underprivileged populations or communities with limited access to mental health resources.
• Involvement in crisis intervention and mental health advocacy initiatives.
