• Deliver high-quality counseling services through individual, family, and group sessions, harnessing your clinical expertise to identify and address clients' mental health needs.
• Utilize our cloud-based Electronic Health Records (EHR) system to maintain client documentation and ensure compliance with insurance requirements, including Medicaid and Medicare.
• Conduct assessments and treatment planning to support clients in managing symptoms of mental health disorders, including trauma and co-occurring diagnoses.
• Create a safe and trusting environment for clients, encouraging open communication and engagement during sessions.
• Provide follow-up care through ongoing counseling sessions and make necessary referrals to other healthcare professionals when required.
• Possess a strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and therapies, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development sessions to enhance your clinical skills and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

You will work predominantly with a diverse range of clients seeking support for various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and dual diagnoses. Your approach will emphasize empowerment and collaboration, fostering client resilience and independence while prioritizing safety and confidentiality throughout the treatment process.

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Virginia.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health counseling is mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Proficient in technology, with reliable access to a laptop or desktop computer, high-speed internet, and a webcam for telehealth sessions.
• Successful completion of a background check.
• Willingness to adapt work schedules, including occasional evenings or weekends, to meet client needs.

• Experience using telehealth platforms or similar tools to conduct counseling sessions.
• Proficient in evidence-based therapy techniques such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR.
• Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, showcasing skills in collaborative care.
