• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
• Facilitate therapy sessions and maintain ongoing documentation of client progress.
• Engage in continuous evaluation of treatment outcomes and adjust plans accordingly.
• Maintain open communication with clients and provide them with necessary resources.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and collaborate on client care.
• Utilize digital platforms for telehealth sessions to effectively connect with clients.

As a mental health counselor at Empathy Edge, you will primarily work with a diverse range of adult clients facing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our therapy services are funded through schools, which allows you to focus solely on providing quality support without financial constraints. You will play a critical role in helping clients achieve their therapy goals, enhancing their emotional resilience and overall mental health.

• A master’s level degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited university.
• An active license to practice unsupervised mental health therapy (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, etc.) in the state of Oregon.
• Minimum of two years of clinical psychotherapy experience working with adult clients.
• Proven skills in conducting intake assessments, diagnosis, and creating treatment plans.
• Strong writing skills for effective documentation and client reporting.
• A clean disciplinary record with no actions against your professional license in any jurisdiction.

• Familiarity with evidence-based practices beyond CBT, such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).
• Experience using telehealth platforms and tools for virtual therapy.
• Background in managing a diverse client caseload with varying mental health needs.

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
