People's Talk Mental Health Services is seeking dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This is a remote position, allowing our clinicians the flexibility to work from any location in the USA. As a Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
• Facilitating group therapy sessions with a maximum of eight clients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for participants to share and heal.
• Providing individual and family therapy sessions, focusing on evidence-based practices that empower clients to achieve sustainable mental wellness.
• Engaging in regular case discussions and peer supervision to enhance clinical skills and exchange innovative ideas with fellow clinicians.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential records of client progress while adhering to ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Utilizing telehealth tools and platforms to deliver effective mental health services, ensuring accessibility for all clients.

This position primarily focuses on serving adolescents and young adults grappling with various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use challenges. We believe every client is unique, and our counselors are tasked with building strong therapeutic relationships that foster trust, understanding, and genuine healing.

The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or a similar independent license. We also welcome junior-licensed clinicians, as we provide supervision to support your professional development.
• Availability to commit a minimum of 12 hours per week for part-time 1099 positions or a full-time capacity for W2 roles, including the potential requirement for evening and weekend sessions.

While not mandatory, we highly value candidates with experience in the following areas:

• Previous work in telehealth or remote counseling settings.
• Experience addressing issues specific to youth and young adults.
• Familiarity with group therapy facilitation and family systems therapy.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.
