As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate each client's unique mental health needs and developing individualized treatment plans.
• Offering therapeutic sessions utilizing evidence-based methodologies, with a focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other relevant approaches.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions to track client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborating with other health professionals when appropriate to ensure holistic care and support for each client.
• Participating in regular team meetings to share best practices and enhance clinical skills through peer support and mentorship.

You will be working directly with a diverse clientele ranging from children and adolescents to adults, each facing varying degrees of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your role is vital in creating safe spaces for clients to explore their feelings, cultivate coping strategies, and work toward enhanced mental health outcomes.

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A master’s level degree from a regionally accredited university in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology.
• An active and unrestricted license to practice as a mental health professional (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, etc.) in the state of Oregon.
• A clean disciplinary record without any actions taken against your license by any licensing board.

In addition to the required qualifications, we prefer candidates who bring:

• Two or more years of clinical psychotherapy experience providing services to adults, with a strong background in evidence-based practices.
• Experience with intake assessments, diagnosis, and ongoing treatment planning.
• Excellent documentation and writing skills to facilitate accurate record-keeping and communication with clients.

The compensation for this position offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 annually. Additionally, you will benefit from:
