As a Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Sevita Therapeutic Services, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential mental health support to individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. This role is offered on a full-time remote basis, providing you with a unique opportunity to maintain a work-life balance while meeting the demands of your clinical responsibilities. Our outpatient office setting emphasizes collaboration and integrated care, where mental health professionals work closely together to ensure patients receive the highest level of support. Typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend shifts on a rotating basis.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms of mood disorders, taking into consideration their personal history and current situation.
• Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, aligning therapeutic goals with their specific needs and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based strategies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate positive mental health outcomes.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care techniques, fostering an environment of understanding and empowerment.
• Regularly monitor client progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective interventions.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive and integrated treatment to clients.
• Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in mood disorder treatment to inform your clinical practices.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in alignment with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in case consultations and team meetings to share insights and best practices.
• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting the de-stigmatization of mood disorders and supporting their mental health rights.

Your primary focus will be on individuals dealing with mood disorders. You will work with adults from various backgrounds and situations, ensuring you provide culturally competent care and recognizing the complex social and psychological factors that contribute to their conditions. Your work will directly influence their ability to cope, manage their symptoms, and improve their overall quality of life.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in Washington State.
• Possession of a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience focusing on treatment for mood disorders.
• Proficiency in implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including CBT and DBT.
• A strong foundation in psychopharmacology and an aptitude for interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Documented success in achieving positive treatment outcomes with clients facing mood disorders.
• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

While not required, preference will be given to candidates with a solid track record of two or more years working specifically with mood disorders, as well as those who have participated in innovative therapeutic programs or have experience in a remote counseling environment.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
