• Conduct virtual counseling sessions utilizing telehealth technologies, ensuring a comforting and confidential space for clients.
• Thoroughly assess individual needs and mental health backgrounds to provide accurate diagnoses and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate the enhancement of coping strategies, emotional regulation, and adjustment to life changes, empowering clients to achieve their personal goals.
• Maintain precise and timely clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring client information is both secure and accessible.
• Uphold strict ethical standards and maintain confidentiality to foster a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary health care team, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to ensure holistic client care.

Our client base consists of diverse individuals experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Counselors are expected to engage with clients of various backgrounds and life stages, adapting therapeutic approaches to meet specific needs. This role requires sensitivity and an understanding of the unique challenges faced by clients within a community health framework.

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a mental health counselor in Massachusetts.
• Proven experience in telehealth counseling, showcasing familiarity with digital tools and techniques for effective client engagement.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and facilitate open discussions with clients.
• Self-motivated with a strong ability to manage time and work independently while also contributing to a team-oriented environment.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a counseling role, particularly within telehealth or community health settings.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care.
• Experience working with diverse populations, particularly those undergoing significant life changes or with complex mental health histories.

Comfort Keepers Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
