This position is entirely remote, providing flexibility and allowing you to work from any location within the United States, while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations as you conduct counseling sessions. Utilizing secure video conferencing technology, you will deliver personalized therapy in a safe and confidential setting. • Conduct engaging and effective remote counseling sessions with clients, utilizing safe and secure telehealth software to ensure confidentiality.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health concerns to develop tailored treatment plans and establish measurable therapeutic goals.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to assist clients in addressing emotional, psychological, and behavioral challenges they may face.
• Respond promptly to crisis situations, providing immediate intervention and support while prioritizing the safety and well-being of clients.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate client records, documenting progress notes and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Educate clients on mental health issues, coping skills, and available resources, empowering them to take charge of their mental wellness journey.
• Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development to remain abreast of the latest best practices in mental health counseling.

You will provide counseling services to a diverse client population, including individuals, couples, and families, all seeking relief from a range of mental health issues. This may include anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and more. Your understanding of various backgrounds and experiences will be crucial in building rapport and effectively guiding clients toward their therapeutic goals.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of a Master’s degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• At least two years of professional counseling experience, particularly in a telehealth or remote setting.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and relational skills, facilitating a constructive therapeutic alliance.
• Proficiency with telehealth technologies and virtual counseling best practices.
• A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in therapy.
• A proactive and independent work ethic, complemented by the ability to collaborate effectively within a remote team.
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate a diverse client base, including evenings and weekends as necessary.

While not mandatory, ideal candidates will have experience working within a multidisciplinary team and utilizing frameworks or methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or mindfulness-based approaches. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and teletherapy platforms is a definite plus.

This position offers a competitive salary of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
