Sharp Health Care Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Mental Health Therapist to join our esteemed outpatient office located in Fresno, California. Work Environment

This position allows for a remote work setting, providing you the flexibility to manage your work while remaining engaged with your clients. Regular team meetings, consultations, and collaborative case reviews will be conducted via teleconferencing, promoting a cohesive team culture despite physical distance. Our office hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend hours required on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms in clients diagnosed with mood disorders.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring alignment with their unique needs, goals, and preferences.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to each client's circumstances.
  • Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to foster empowerment.
  • Monitor client progress throughout the treatment process and make necessary adjustments to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both mental health and medical needs.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions following legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
  • Participate in continuous professional development activities, including team meetings and case consultations, to stay updated on best practices and latest research in mood disorder treatment.
  • Act as an advocate for clients, promoting awareness and de-stigmatization of mental health conditions within the community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with individuals grappling with mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. As a compassionate therapist, you will be pivotal in helping clients navigate their mental health journeys, employing a holistic approach that includes therapy, education, and emotional support.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
  • At least two years of post-licensure experience, with a specialization in treating mood disorders.
  • Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic practices, particularly CBT and DBT, tailored for mood disorders.
  • A solid understanding of psychopharmacology, enabling effective collaboration with psychiatrists and medical staff.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in developing and implementing group therapy sessions.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote treatment methodologies.
  • Engagement in community outreach programs focusing on mental health awareness.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
