• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to understand each student’s unique mental health status, strengths, and challenges.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tailored to the needs of the school-aged population.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nurses, and educational professionals to design and ensure integrated care plans that address the mental health needs of students.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health diagnoses, treatment approaches, and medication management options.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing best practices in a supportive atmosphere conducive to healing.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate students’ aspirations and preferences in conjunction with interdisciplinary team input.
• Advocate for students’ rights and needs within the school system, assisting them to navigate mental health resources efficiently.
• Lead therapeutic groups, provide psychoeducation sessions, and contribute to discharge planning meetings, ensuring continuity of care.

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents requiring mental health support. This role demands a strong sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by young individuals, including anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, and the effects of trauma. You will serve as a critical bridge between mental health services and the educational environment, ensuring students receive the support they need.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and client families.

• Experience in school-based settings or working specifically with children and adolescents in mental health contexts is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in the use of electronic health records and telehealth platforms to facilitate remote service delivery and documentation.
• Familiarity with community resources and systems relevant to child and adolescent mental health services.
