Job description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting. The position is located in Lamont, CA, and emphasizes delivering remote speech therapy to support students' communication needs.

Responsibilities include conducting virtual assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing teletherapy sessions to students with speech and language impairments. Collaboration with educators and caregivers will ensure continuity of care and promote student progress in communication skills. Maintaining accurate records and participating in virtual meetings is expected.

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology licensure
  • Experience providing teletherapy or telespeech services in educational environments
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders in school-age children
  • Proficiency with telecommunication technologies and virtual therapy platforms
  • Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration with students, families, and staff
