Job description

Job Opportunity: Weekend Diagnostic Radiologist

Our organization is actively looking for a dedicated Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team on a weekend-only basis. This ongoing position focuses on delivering exceptional body imaging and emergency radiology services during the weekends. The role is seamlessly integrated within our department, providing a stable schedule, robust clinical support, and attractive compensation.

Position Highlights:
  • Consistent Weekend Schedule: Coverage is defined from Friday to Sunday.
  • Productivity Expectations: Anticipated output of approximately 400 – 450 wRVUs each weekend.
  • Academic Environment: Opportunity to work in a prominent academic medical center with Level 1 trauma services.
  • Collaborative Atmosphere: Access to subspecialty support.
  • Remote Work: Flexibility to work from home.
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree required.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Preferred fellowship training in Body Imaging, ER/Trauma Radiology, or a related specialty.
  • Possession of a valid California medical license.

Compensation & Benefits:

The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $600,000 to $650,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which are determined by departmental compensation plans. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
