About the Sr. Post Production Editor and QC Specialist role:
The Sr. Post Production Editor and QC Specialist is a highly detail-oriented creative professional responsible for ensuring soona's enterprise photo, video & graphic deliverables are accurate, consistent, on-brand and client-ready.
This role serves as the quality gate for enterprise work, reviewing assets against creative standards, technical specifications and client feedback. They identify errors and provide clear and actionable feedback to editors and ensure revisions fully address the request.
This role develops account-specific QC standards, document recurring issues, strengthen workflows and help editors consistently meet each client's expectations. This role is comfortable working under pressure, managing competing deadlines and making sound quality decisions in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
While primarily focused on enterprise-specific QC, this role also has the technical ability to complete research & development and step into editing tasks across any soona client.
This is a contract position from September - October. They must be able to work MT or CT time zones.

  • Review assets against client briefs, brand guidelines, technical specs, reference files and platform requirements, and do whatever it takes to ensure enterprise quality
  • Serve as the final QC checkpoint for enterprise photo, video and design deliverables
  • Proactively escalate quality risks that might affect client delivery and deadline
  • Ensure client feedback is interpreted correctly and fully addressed in each revision
  • Provide editors with clear, specific and actionable feedback
  • Build and maintain account-specific QC checklists, SOPs and reference materials
  • Track recurring errors and quality trends across enterprise accounts
  • Identify root causes of quality issues and recommend improvements to workflows, training and assignments
  • Partner with producers and account teams to clarify feedback, specs and quality expectations
  • Support editor coaching by sharing examples, patterns and opportunities for improvement
  • Answer technical questions related to photo & video
  • Conduct research and development for new editing techniques, client requirements and production workflows
  • Complete hands-on editing or QC overflow when necessary
  • Audit editor hours and deliverables to ensure profitability and that work/payouts are accurate
  • Support training other team members on key accounts or coverage

has experience in:
  • 3+ years in post-production editing for enterprise clients
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Lightroom, Premiere, Photoshop, etc.) with the ability to step into editing/QC tasks as needed
  • Managing multiple accounts/projects simultaneously in a high-volume creative environment
  • Building and maintaining SOPs and workflows
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with proven ability to relay information between clients, producers, and editors (where English is a second language)
  • Advanced organizational skills with a detail-first mindset
