Position Overview

WeCare Behavioral Health & Consulting Clinic is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors for full-time remote roles. In this position, you will be instrumental in providing critical mental health support through telehealth services, ensuring that your expertise reaches those who need it most, regardless of geographical constraints.

Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, allowing for maximum flexibility and comfort as you conduct sessions from your own space. Our telehealth facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology designed to streamline communication and engagement with clients. You will have access to an electronic health record system tailored for mental health professionals, which simplifies documentation and enhances client interaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations and diagnostic interviews, to identify patient needs accurately.
  • Work collaboratively with patients to create tailored treatment plans that embrace their unique backgrounds, specific goals, and individual challenges.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT) in diverse settings, including individual and group therapy.
  • Provide crisis intervention services and collaborate with healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless continuity of care for patients experiencing acute distress.
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation in compliance with our clinic's policies and relevant regulatory standards.
  • Empower patients and their families through psychoeducation, equipping them with the necessary tools to manage their mental health effectively.
  • Engage with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers to foster comprehensive patient care.
  • Regularly assess treatment outcomes to determine effectiveness and make adjustments as necessary.
  • Stay current with the latest research and trends in mental health to continually enhance your clinical practice.
  • Uphold high ethical standards while ensuring patient confidentiality at all times.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on individuals who have experienced trauma and those dealing with various mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, and mood disorders. Our counselors are expected to respect and understand the diverse cultural backgrounds of our clients, providing culturally sensitive support tailored to their needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Social Work or a related field is mandatory.
  • Must hold a valid and active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • Proficiency in working independently as well as within a multidisciplinary team environment is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients from various cultural backgrounds.
Preferred Experience

While not required, experience in providing trauma-informed care and familiarity with telehealth platforms are highly regarded. Prior experience in a clinical setting involving both individual and group therapy is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
