What Your Day Will Look Like:

The Transportation Project Manager will lead the delivery of roadway projects from conceptual design through preliminary, intermediate, and final design phases to construction. You`ll manage a team of engineers and designers in all aspects of design and plan preparation for roadway, highway, and civil improvement projects for State, City, and County agencies.

What You'll Do:

Plan, direct and manage transportation projects, overseeing all aspects of multi-disciplinary transportation planning projects across the region.  Provide superior client service through quality management, technical excellence, responsiveness, and production management of design plans and specifications, reports and analyses  Prepare scope, schedule, and budgets for projects and task orders Develop and present complex technical solutions to clients, demonstrating innovative problem-solving abilities Oversee the planning and design for roadway, Bridge and traffic engineering projects Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes Assist in business development and proposal efforts with local municipal, state, and private clients 

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences or a closely related field
  • 8 years of experience in transportation project management
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex roadway/highway projects
  • Understands transportation design software, including OpenRoads and MicroStation
  • Strong knowledge of transportation industry standards, regulations, and best practices
