Establishing clear deadlines and using asynchronous communication methods are key strategies for effective collaboration in remote environments.

To thrive as a Remote Web Designer, you need strong expertise in UI/UX design principles, proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and a relevant degree or portfolio demonstrating your abilities. Creative Director

NinjaOne

Austin, TX • On-site, Remote

Full-time

Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, Retirement, PTO

Posted 14 days ago

Job description

About the Role

NinjaOne is building something rare… A brand that actually earns attention in one of the noisiest markets in tech. We need a Creative Director who gets that, and wants to own it.

This isn't a caretaker role. We’re a hyper-growth company with 3,000+ employees, a global footprint, and creative and financial ambitions that outpace most companies our size. We need a Creative Director who understands the full arc from brand strategy to execution, and knows how to turn a talented team into a high-output creative engine without burning anyone out.

We have a great creative team who deserves the right leaders to support them in creating the best work of their careers. You'll own every touchpoint NinjaOne puts into the world: brand identity, website, paid media, OOH, event booths, product marketing, advertising, CTV, and beyond.

We're looking for someone who's done this before. Scaled a brand, grown a team, and ramped creative output to keep pace with a hyper-scaling business that isn’t slowing down. If you've navigated that kind of growth and came out with a stronger brand and the team intact, we want to talk.

The NinjaOne culture is just different. Not just words on a wall. A top priority for this role is to lead by example and foster a team and work culture that people want to be a part of.

Reports to the Sr. Director of Brand + Design.

PLEASE NOTE: You are REQUIRED to include a link to your portfilio with your application.

Location - We are flexible on remote working from home, if you are located in the USA and reside in one of the following states - CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, *IL, KS, ME, MA, MD, NJ, NC, NY, OR, TN, TX, VA, & WA.

What You’ll be Doing

  • The creative vision:

    • Owning what NinjaOne looks like, sounds like, and stands for. Globally, consistently, at scale.

  • The team:

    • Leading, coaching, and growing the team across design, video, motion, and production. Running a high-volume Canva production engine without letting quality slip or burning people out.

  • The brand:

    • Owning the identity system, evolving it as we grow, and keeping it consistent across an entire organization that's moving fast.

  • Advertising + campaigns:

    • You’ll partner closely with the integrated media team and own creative strategy and execution. Broadcast TV and CTV spots and cutdowns. A campaign mindset on everything, not just the big launches.

  • Digital + web:

    • Designing and evolving the NinjaOne website, partnering with UX/UI and Analytics to optimize the user journey from first touch to demo, and using data to back it all up.

  • Cross-functional creative partnership:

    • Running a high-volume Canva production engine without letting quality slip or burning people out. Collaborating with Content on strategy and copy, working with Demand Gen, Product Marketing, and Digital to tie creative to business outcomes. You're not just executing briefs, you're helping shape them.

  • Other duties as needed

About You

  • You've built brands. You've run and scaled teams. You've directed campaigns from concept through broadcast. You still care about the details and the work.

  • You bring:

    • 12+ years in creative — agency, in-house SaaS/tech, or integrated marketing

    • 5+ years leading teams of 10+, with real results developing talent and culture

    • Advertising chops — broadcast TV, CTV, integrated campaigns, the whole arc

    • Experience running a scalable production engine at high volume

    • A strategic point of view you can defend in a room full of skeptics

    • The ability to build brand systems that actually hold across a big, fast-moving org

    • The experience of owning a brand at hyper-scale.

    • A disposition that's take-charge without being impossible to work with

  • You are:

    • A builder, not a caretaker

    • Someone who gives honest creative feedback and can take it too

    • Collaborative by default, decisive when necessary

    • Genuinely excited about the intersection of brand, design, and technology

  • Preferred:

    • B2B or SaaS background: you know how to make technical products feel compelling

    • Experience with trade show and large-format experiential design

    • Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite

    • Familiarity with video production pipelines, motion, and animation

    • Bachelor's in Graphic Design, Advertising, Communications, or related field
