As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Evans Mental Health Clinic, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting virtual individual, family, and group counseling sessions tailored to meet various mental health needs.
• Utilizing our EHR system to accurately document client progress, treatment plans, and session notes, ensuring compliance with insurance requirements.
• Creating and implementing effective treatment programs to help clients manage symptoms related to mental health conditions, trauma, or dual diagnosis.
• Staying updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health to provide the highest standard of care.
• Maintaining the confidentiality and safety of all clients while fostering an environment of trust and empowerment.

You will work with a diverse patient population facing a variety of mental health challenges. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in technology, including a reliable laptop or desktop computer, stable internet access, and a web camera for conducting telehealth sessions.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule, including availability for some evenings and weekends.
• Successful completion of a background check.

While not required, experience in telehealth counseling and familiarity with integrating digital tools into therapeutic practices will be advantageous. Ideally, you will have developed a deep understanding of trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing techniques, and various therapeutic methodologies.
