This remote position enables you to engage clients from the comfort of their homes while fostering a strong therapeutic alliance. Operating within an outpatient setting allows you to conduct one-on-one sessions and group therapies, accommodating a flexible schedule that prioritizes patient needs. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some possible scheduling adjustments based on client availability and requirements.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments of clients to identify presenting issues, establish rapport, and develop customized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to guide individuals, couples, and families through their mental health journeys.
• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups aimed at addressing common mental health challenges and fostering a sense of community among participants.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care, ensuring holistic approaches to mental health treatment.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention services and support during acute mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
• Educate patients on mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources that can assist in their recovery.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation as per legal and ethical guidelines, utilizing our electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient case management.
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development to remain current with best practices and innovative treatment approaches in mental health therapy.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client base, including individuals from various backgrounds and age groups facing a wide range of mental health issues. This may involve working with those experiencing chronic conditions or acute mental health crises, thereby requiring sensitivity and adaptability in your therapeutic approach. • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LSCSW, LCP, LCPC, Psychologist, or LCMFT in the state of Kansas.
• A solid understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches relevant to a wide variety of patient needs.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive assessments, formulating effective treatment strategies based on clients' unique circumstances.
• Experience in delivering individual and group therapy, with a compassionate approach to vary different populations.
• Strong interpersonal skills, fostering respectful communication and a trusting therapeutic environment.
• Capacity to manage difficult situations with sound judgment while maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and technological tools for documentation and therapy management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team of professionals dedicated to improving client lives.

• Minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling or therapy.
• Proven track record in a community-based or outpatient setting.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
