Job description

Description
Product Manager - Event Platforms
The Arc Global Digital Team is looking for a Product Manager to own the platforms and tooling that power our live events, which include large-scale exhibitions, conferences and award programs. This role sits at the intersection of attendee experience, event operations, and technology, covering registration systems, event websites, mobile apps and the integrations that connect events to our marketing, CRM, and data systems.
You'll be the connective tissue between the teams that run events, the engineers and designers who build the tools, and the external vendors that supply parts of the stack. Your job is to make the end-to-end experience faster to launch, smoother to operate, and measurably better for sponsors, attendees and internal teams alike.
Two priorities sit at the heart of this role. First, consolidation: you'll help drive the rationalization of today's multiple event technologies onto a coherent, well-integrated platform set. Second, connection: you'll be responsible for connecting our events to our digital platforms, underpinning our digital community-based strategy within our events.
This is a hands-on, product role with broad ownership and real impact. It's fully remote, with travel for major events or team gatherings.
What You'll Do
  • Own and prioritize the product roadmap for event platforms, balancing attendee experience, sponsor needs, internal operations, and technical feasibility
  • Drive the consolidation of multiple event technologies onto a coherent, integrated platform set, leading build-vs-buy and tool-rationalization decisions.
  • Connect events to our digital platforms so attendee relationships extend well beyond the event itself, advancing our digital community-based strategy
  • Translate input from events, marketing, sales, and operations teams into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Partner closely with engineering and design through discovery, build, and launch, removing blockers and keeping work aligned to outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with third-party event-tech vendors (registration/ticketing, exhibition and conference platforms, attendee apps) and understand the guardrails of each system.
  • Oversee integrations between event platforms and adjacent systems, CRM, marketing automation, payments, and analytics, so data flows cleanly end to end.
  • Define and track the metrics that matter: registration conversion, time-to-launch, attendee satisfaction, sponsor satisfaction, platform reliability, post-event data quality, and downstream digital engagement.
  • Run user research and gather feedback inform priorities and validate solutions.
  • Coordinate launch readiness and event-day support, ensuring platforms perform when it counts most.
  • Maintain a healthy, well-groomed backlog and communicate priorities, trade-offs, and progress clearly to stakeholders.
  • Constantly look to leverage AI and modern technologies to push the business forward.

Requirements
What You'll Bring
Required
  • 8+ years of product management experience, ideally with SaaS or web-based platforms
  • A track record of shipping products in partnership with engineering and design
  • Comfort gathering requirements from non-technical stakeholders and turning them into clear specs
  • Data-informed decision-making: you set goals and use evidence to prioritize
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to keep distributed teams aligned
  • Familiarity with agile/scrum ways of working

Preferred
  • Experience in events, media, or B2B platforms
  • Working knowledge of the event-technology category, registration, exhibition and conference platforms, attendee apps
  • Experience consolidating or migrating overlapping systems onto a unified platform
  • Technical fluency around APIs and system integrations (CRM, marketing automation, payment, analytics)
  • Hands-on experience with product and web analytics tools

Physical Demands of the Job Include
  • Performing work in an indoor office environment
  • Operating standard office equipment such as computers, printers, keyboards, monitors, phones, and other telecommunications or internet-enabled communications devices
  • Possessing short-distance visual acuity to perform an activity such as entering, preparing, and/or analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.
  • Lifting and carrying small to medium sized (0-20 lbs) parcels, packages and other items or traversing short distances.
  • Traversing longer distances and/or standing for extended periods of time will be required if travelling to conferences and in-person events.

Position Type and Expected Work Hours
This is a regular, full-time role. Most work is typically conducted Monday - Friday, during Arc's core business hours, between 9:00 AM and 5:30 PM. Additional work time may be required.
