About this RoleHBK Engineering is seeking a Designer for our Ontario, CA office to deliver comprehensive design and engineering services for diverse electrical utility projects. The ideal candidate is a graduate of the Service Planner Development Program (SPDP) or possesses 1+ years of experience in Electrical Utility Distribution/Transmission Design or Line Construction.
This role requires a technical expert capable of managing multiple concurrent projects from single-unit to large-scale complexes with strict adherence to Lighting, Overhead (OH), and Underground (UG) utility standards. You will utilize Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and planning databases to generate accurate technical reports, calculations, and construction drawings while providing mentorship in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
