  • Secure product approvals through pricing and risk committees

  • Lead product filing efforts in conjunction with our Compliance team

  • Create transparency within the division and enterprise around pricing results, including methodologies and assumptions used and sensitivity testing

  • Collaborate with Risk Management and Finance to identify risk management tools to manage our product suite, and appropriately incorporate into pricing

  • Champion innovation and modernization initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies, including AI and advanced analytics, to enhance pricing capabilities, streamline processes, improve team productivity, and accelerate speed to market.

The experience you bring:

  • 10+ years of actuarial experience

  • FSA designation, including 3 years of actuarial experience post FSA designation

  • Deep knowledge of annuity products, product features, pricing methodologies, and market dynamics, with the ability to identify emerging opportunities and develop innovative product solutions

  • Experience leading products through the full product development lifecycle, including pricing, risk assessment, governance, regulatory filing, implementation, and launch

  • Strong financial acumen, including expertise in Statutory, GAAP, and economic reporting frameworks, capital markets, and the ability to evaluate and communicate key drivers of profitability, risk, and value creation

  • Proven people leadership experience with a track record of coaching, developing, and mentoring actuarial talent while building a high-performing, collaborative team environment

  • Strong technical and analytical capabilities, including the ability to solve complex business problems and translate actuarial insights into actionable recommendations

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility across the enterprise and effectively engage leaders across Product, Sales, Risk Management, Finance, and Investments

  • Demonstrated strategic mindset with the ability to establish a long-term vision, drive change, challenge the status quo, and execute against evolving business priorities
