Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Project Controls Specialist to join our team supporting the DOE's Y-12 National Security Complex! This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Possibility of hybrid or remote work.
Responsibilities
  • Provides varied project controls support which includes:
    • Primavera P6 utilization,
    • schedule development and maintenance,
    • cost analysis and controls,
    • earned value measurement, and
    • reporting.
  • Facilitates internal team communication and meetings.
  • Assists with customer interactions, including tracking project management deliverables and presenting project management status to external or internal customers.

Requirements
  • Education & Years of Experience - Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of verifiable experience using P6 and doing project controls work, or a high school diploma with 20+ years of verifiable experience using P6 and doing project controls work
  • Citizenship - To be considered, you must be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work.
  • Clearance - To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance.
  • Must have demonstrated verifiable experience (min. of 10 years) with Primavera P6
  • Must have experience with schedule development and maintenance, cost analysis and control, earned value measurement, and reporting.
  • Must be able to resolve complex issues, strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communications skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision and effectively manage multiple/changing priorities.

Desired Skills
  • Active DOE "Q" clearance or active DoD "Top Secret" clearance highly desired.

The NNSA's Y-12 National Security Complex, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, is the nation's only source of enriched uranium nuclear weapon components and provides enriched uranium for the U.S. Navy as well as excels in materials science, precision manufacturing, and stores enriched uranium.
