Spring Water Behavioral Health Services is seeking a dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote role offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to deliver comprehensive mental health support to individuals facing various mood disorders.

Located in the heart of Gresham, Oregon, Spring Water Behavioral Health Services is a reputable outpatient practice known for delivering high-quality mental health services. Our interdisciplinary team consists of psychiatrists and mental health counselors who collaborate to provide integrative care. This is a fully remote position, allowing for flexibility in managing your work-life balance. Our normal business hours are from Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring that you can focus on patient care while maintaining personal commitments. We utilize a range of digital platforms to streamline communication and documentation, supporting our therapists in their clinical work.

• Conduct detailed assessments of clients to determine the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms, ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment planning.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that align with their unique goals, preferences, and challenges.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to the needs of individuals experiencing mood disorders.
• Provide ongoing support and education to clients and their families, offering insights into treatment processes and self-care strategies for managing mood disorders.
• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their evolving needs.
• Work in tandem with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to ensure holistic care for clients, leveraging insights from various disciplines.
• Engage in continuous professional development, staying updated on the latest research and practices in the treatment of mood disorders.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings and consultations to enhance clinical practices and share insights on case management.
• Advocate for clients’ mental health needs, aiming to reduce the stigma around mood disorders and raise awareness about available support options.

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele ranges from adolescents to adults, each presenting unique challenges that require compassion, expertise, and targeted intervention strategies.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Oregon.
• Proficient in using evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a solid understanding of their application in diverse clinical settings.
• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and ensure integrated care.
• Demonstrated success in achieving positive treatment outcomes for clients with mood disorders.
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds effectively.

Candidate experience in outpatient settings providing treatment for mood disorders is highly desirable. Previous involvement in community mental health initiatives or specialized training in contemporary evidence-based practices can further strengthen your application.

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
