Life Wave Counseling Center is seeking compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapists (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW) to join our dedicated team in a full-time, remote capacity. This role is critical in providing comprehensive mental health services to our diverse client base through telehealth modalities, allowing for flexible and effective treatment delivery.

The work environment at Life Wave Counseling Center is supportive and dynamic, designed to foster collaboration among practitioners. Although this position is fully remote, our team maintains close communication and utilizes telehealth technology to conduct therapy sessions from the comfort of our patients' homes. Our therapy practitioners benefit from a flexible work schedule, primarily Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some scheduling adaptability to meet patient needs.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to ascertain client needs and develop tailored treatment plans aimed at encouraging recovery and personal growth.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to provide effective counseling to individuals, couples, and families.
• Lead psychoeducational workshops and support groups, facilitating a safe environment for discussion and healing among patients facing similar challenges.
• Collaborate actively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure comprehensive and aligned patient care.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients during urgent mental health situations and assist in crisis planning.
• Educate clients on mental health conditions, available treatment options, and connect them with community resources for additional support.
• Maintain accurate and secure client records adhering to legal and ethical documentation standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
• Engage in continuous professional development through case consultations, team meetings, and staying informed about the latest industry research and practices.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada, ensuring adherence to state regulations in mental health practice.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and best practices in psychotherapy.
• Proficient experience in conducting mental health assessments and creating effective, individualized treatment strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate rapport with clients and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
• Understanding of legal and ethical standards related to mental health therapy, along with sound clinical judgment.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

• Previous experience working with a variety of patient populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
• Background in group therapy facilitation and psychoeducation.
• Participation in community outreach programs, which illustrates commitment to improving public mental health awareness.
