• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health, focusing on the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.
• Design individualized treatment plans that align with the diverse needs, goals, and preferences of each client.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address underlying issues.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower informed decision-making.
• Regularly monitor client progress, review treatment efficacy, and adjust plans as necessary to ensure optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients with complex needs.
• Stay abreast of current research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to enhance the quality of care provided.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to promote idea sharing and professional development.
• Advocate for clients by promoting mental health awareness and breaking down stigmas associated with mental illness.

This role focuses on supporting individuals and families grappling with relationship challenges, particularly those relating to divorce and family dynamics. You will work closely with clients from diverse backgrounds, offering a safe and nonjudgmental space for them to explore their feelings and collaboratively develop effective coping strategies.

• A current and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State is essential.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and establish a therapeutic alliance through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Exhibit empathy, a nonjudgmental attitude, and a deep understanding of clients' experiences and struggles.
• Strong organizational skills and time management abilities are crucial to handle a varied caseload effectively.

• Experience with specific modalities such as structural family therapy, systemic therapy, or narrative therapy is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of managing a diverse caseload, particularly in the areas of divorce and relationship counseling.
• Familiarity with integrated care practices and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
