• Act as a frontline clinician, providing therapy and support to clients with varying degrees of mental illness and emotional challenges.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments, developing tailored care plans that promote client access to necessary resources and linked services.
• Engage clients through individual, group, and family therapy sessions, ensuring that treatment is responsive to their evolving needs.
• Monitor client progress through regular evaluations, ensuring timely referrals for additional services or deeper assessments as needed.

You will primarily work with clients within the hospice care setting, dealing with sensitive and often complex emotional challenges associated with terminal illnesses. Your role is vital in providing both emotional and psychological support, helping clients and their families navigate the intricacies of end-of-life care. This includes creating a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings while empowering them to make informed choices throughout their care journey.

• A valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work is required; a Master's degree is preferred for enhanced practice.
