Silver Lining Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist specializing in child and adolescent therapy to join our remote team. • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to determine the mental health needs of children and adolescents.
• Develop, implement, and assess personalized treatment plans, considering individual developmental stages, family backgrounds, and specific circumstances.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and family therapy, addressing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD.
• Support families through therapy sessions aimed at improving communication and family dynamics, ensuring an enriching environment for the child.
• Coordinate closely with child psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to deliver integrated and comprehensive care.
• Respond to mental health crises with appropriate interventions and support, acting as a crucial resource during emergencies.
• Educate families on mental health conditions, treatment options, and community resources available for additional support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated with the latest research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

This position primarily focuses on providing mental health therapy to children and adolescents dealing with a variety of challenges, including anxiety disorders, depressive symptoms, ADHD, and behavioral issues. Therapists will work collaboratively with caregivers and family members to promote healthy psychological and emotional development in young patients. Our therapeutic environment not only fosters healing but also prioritizes the child’s voice and participation in their own treatment process.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid clinical license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Illinois.
• Comprehensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and therapeutic techniques.
• Experience providing psychoeducation and psychotherapy to children and adolescents in clinical settings.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong emphasis on empathy and understanding.
• Demonstrated ability to establish trust-based relationships with children, adolescents, and families.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and proficiency in managing documentation and patient records electronically.
• A collaborative mindset and willingness to work within a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care.

• Minimum of two years of direct experience in a clinical setting focusing on child and adolescent therapy.
• Experience in crisis intervention and handling mental health emergencies involving minors.
• Prior involvement in community outreach programs or initiatives supporting mental health awareness among youth.

The position offers an attractive salary range of USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additional incentives include performance-based bonuses and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
