Inspectors assess structural integrity, identify defects, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. This role is commonly found in industries like aerospace, energy, manufacturing, and infrastructure. RVI helps minimize human risk, reduce downtime, and improve maintenance efficiency. Skilled professionals interpret findings and generate detailed reports for analysis and decision-making.

To thrive in Remote Visual Inspection, you need keen attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and familiarity with industry-specific standards or inspection protocols—often supported by a technical diploma or relevant experience. Proficiency with remote inspection technology such as high-resolution cameras, drones, and software platforms for documenting and reporting findings is essential, and certifications like ASNT VT Level I/II can be advantageous. Effective communication, problem-solving, and a proactive approach enable inspectors to collaborate efficiently with remote teams and clients.
