Job description

Location Requirement: Candidate must reside in the Central or Eastern Time Zone
*This position has a monthly, uncapped commission plan.
Position Overview
The Outreach Liaison collaborates closely with both the sales and operations teams to identify and engage referral sources to grow market share in outlying markets. Meet and exceed patient referral and start of care growth expectations. This role includes, but not limited to, making outbound calls to high-potential accounts, providing education about Aveanna Healthcare Medical Solutions' product lines and services, and fostering relationships to generate new referrals. Achieving sales targets will result in performance-based incentives. The Outreach Liaison will track sales activities using the assigned software platform, provide exceptional customer service to referral sources, and coordinate across departments to ensure complete orders. Duties include developing sales strategies, generating leads, utilizing market trend data, reviewing clinical documents, completing new patient forms, and educating new patients/customers. Additional responsibilities may involve routine office tasks such as virtual meetings, ordering supplies, and handling customer phone inquiries.
Essential Job Functions
Promotion of Aveanna Medical Solutions products and services to existing and potential referral sources to achieve established revenue targets assigned on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Create and carry out a specific market development plan supporting company goals and objectives.
Conduct market research within assigned states/territories to meet growth goals
Coordinate and conduct virtual patient education and equipment set up.
Assemble and prepare new and existing customer information packets as well as referral source collateral to align with corporate Marketing campaigns to be mailed weekly and/or as needed.
Initiate and coordinate virtual referral source education events.
Make outbound calls to healthcare providers, including physician offices, WIC clinics, hospitals, and community medical centers. Track call activities and meet call volume expectations.
Review clinical documents, physician's orders, and other relevant information to facilitate new enteral referrals.
Address patient questions and concerns as needed.
Track referral and start of care volumes to the expected goal.
Document all communications with physicians, patients, or caregivers in the assigned software platform.
Provide regular feedback to management regarding sales activity and success in market development.

Requirements
Certification/ License to Registered Dietician or Registered Diet Technician (based on the state licensure requirements)
Must have valid driver's license and driving record that meets company standard
Preferences
Bachelor's degree in nutritional science or dietetics; or equivalent work experience
Associate's degree as a Diet Technician that is accredited by ACEND
Physical Requirements
Must be able to speak, write, read, and understand English
Must be able to travel as applicable to the function of the role
Must have a valid driver's license
Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of 25 pounds
Must be able to sit and climb stairs
Must have visual and hearing acuity
