Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments and screenings through virtual consultations to evaluate the mental health needs of clients, ultimately developing tailored treatment plans.
• Provide engaging short-term individual counseling sessions, focusing on crisis intervention to aid patients dealing with a variety of mental health challenges.
• Facilitate online therapy groups and workshops that address essential topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and personal growth.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including medical practitioners and community organizations, to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of services for patients.
• Engage in proactive outreach efforts to raise mental health awareness, host wellness events, and promote preventative care initiatives among the community.
• Document all patient interactions meticulously, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a counselor at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health concerns, catering to both short-term and long-term treatment needs.

Qualifications

• Possession of an active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field is required, with preference for candidates holding a higher degree.
• A strong understanding of the mental health issues prevalent in diverse populations, particularly those common among patients in remote health environments.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, critical for fostering relationships with clients and collaborating effectively within a team.
• A solid foundation in evidence-based practices and brief therapy models that align with the objectives of a virtual counseling setting.
• The ability to operate efficiently within a fast-paced remote environment, managing a diverse caseload effectively.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical mental health setting, with a demonstrated ability to work with a range of mental health concerns.
• Experience conducting remote counseling sessions and familiarity with telehealth platforms is highly desirable.
• Previous involvement in outreach or community mental health initiatives would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

• The compensation for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
