Job description

Position Overview

Envision Behavioral Wellness Coaching is actively seeking dedicated and licensed mental health therapists to join our compassionate team of skilled professionals. As a full-time therapist, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals facing mental health challenges such as trauma, anxiety, and depression. If you are a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others, we invite you to apply.

About the Organization

Envision Behavioral Wellness Coaching operates as a community health clinic based in El Paso, Texas. Our mission is to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based mental health care in a nurturing and supportive environment. We prioritize the well-being of our clients and our staff, fostering a collaborative team dynamic that encourages growth and professional development.

Work Environment

This role offers a remote work setting, allowing you to maintain flexibility in your practice while reaching a diverse clientele. Our therapists engage regularly with our multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychologists, and mental health professionals, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care. Typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, offering a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments to determine the mental health needs of clients, utilizing standard diagnostic tools and interviews.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that use evidence-based practices, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), tailored to the specific requirements of each client.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring the protection of sensitive patient information.
  • Collaborate with fellow mental health professionals during case consultations to enhance therapeutic approaches and share best practices.
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mental health conditions and available treatment options, empowering them with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions.
  • Regularly participate in peer review meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with trends and advancements in mental health practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will serve a varied client base in the El Paso area, assisting individuals from diverse backgrounds who are navigating complex life situations. Many clients may be experiencing high levels of distress due to trauma, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, or relationship issues. Your empathetic approach will be instrumental in creating therapeutic relationships built on trust, enabling clients to embark on their healing journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Texas, allowing for practice in the state.
  • Knowledge and application of solution-focused psychotherapy techniques to effectively address the individualized needs of clients.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and foster a sense of safety in the therapeutic environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities that enable the effective navigation of complex client situations.
  • Commitment to a team-oriented approach, valuing collaboration and support among colleagues.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in community mental health settings or clinics offering similar services.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and an understanding of the barriers faced by underserved populations.
  • Fluency in Spanish or another language is a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clients.
Compensation and Benefits

Envision Behavioral Wellness Coaching offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage to support your health needs.
  • Flexible work arrangements that prioritize your lifestyle and family commitments.
  • Professional development opportunities, including continuing education allowances.
  • A supportive atmosphere that promotes work-life balance and overall well-being.

At Envision Behavioral Wellness Coaching, we believe in investing in our staff’s professional trajectory. We offer various opportunities for mentorship, training, and advancement within the organization. As our clinic continues to grow, there will be ample possibilities for leadership roles and specialized therapy practices.
