Work Environment

This position is uniquely structured as a remote opportunity, allowing our licensed therapists to work from the comfort of their homes while maintaining a strong connection with clients through teletherapy and virtual consultations. Our outpatient office environment is collaborative, inclusive, and geared towards providing a supportive atmosphere for both clients and staff. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., ensuring a balanced work-life setup.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.
• Collaborate closely with clients to craft individualized treatment plans addressing their unique needs, goals, and aspirations.
• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate recovery.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower their journeys.
• Monitor client progress vigilantly, adapting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive integrated care.
• Stay informed about current research and advancements in mood disorder treatment to ensure the use of the best practices.
• Maintain thorough, confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

The ideal candidate will work extensively with individuals suffering from mood disorders, including depression and anxiety, as well as those from marginalized communities, such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Qualifications

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
